By now you’ve either had a skin needling treatment or at least heard about it, right?
So, what’s all the fuss about? I bet you’re asking; does it even work?
The short answer is, YES!
And here’s why..
Skin needling is known by name names: micro needling, derma filing, nano needling, collagen induction therapy…
And it truly lives up to the rumours, that it gives your skin THAT GLOW!
What is it? And what does it do?
Skin needling is performed by using a pen-like device. On the tip of this device is a cartridge that contains tiny needles. These tiny needles create micro-injuries to the skin which in turn stimulate collagen and elastin and increase the cell turn over rate resulting in even, smooth, glowing skin and better absorption of skincare products.
What does it do exactly?
- minimises enlarged pores
- reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- lightens pigmentation
- reduces the appearance of acne scaring
- assists in overall hydration
You can expect to pay anything between $180-$400 for a single skin needling facial session. and it’s recommended to do this in a course at least 4 weeks apart to see ongoing results.
Think of it like going to the gym. You can’t go one time and expect to have your dream bod! Skin is the same, keep it regular and you’ll reap the rewards!
My advice, invest in your skin. It’s the only one you’ve got.
Xx
